Shinlee.ltd. Holds DJ Contest On ShowPlus Mobile App

[Biz World] Shinlee.ltd. announced on the 19th that it will hold a DJ contest through the 'Show Plus' app, a new challenge that goes beyond the limits of the digital music platform. 

The competition will be a stage where 32 veteran DJs representing Korea will participate and compete for their musical capabilities, the company explained.

In the first round, 32 DJs who were recommended by industry experts will have a ranking match on the Show Plus app. Rankings are determined by hearts, comments, and donations, and eight DJs who received the most love are selected.

The top eight DJs who were finally selected will play the semifinals and the final round again in a tournament manner. The fierce final stage will be held at the Banyan Tree Pool Party, where Shinlee.ltd. will participate as the main sponsor. The company stressed that the pool party is expected to become the best event that brings together music, parties, and summer heat beyond simple music contests. 

In particular, among fans who participated in the voting for the ranking match, they will be given a ticket to the Banyan Tree Pool Party, which is the highlight of the competition, through a lottery. Winners will be able to experience the DJs' passionate performance and enjoy the pool party at the site of the semifinal and final. 

An official from the company said, "This DJ competition will be the first festival to enjoy with fans through a mobile app beyond a simple music competition," adding, "In the future, we will continue to hold various competitions, including martial arts and busking, as well as local singing competitions, at Show+ to make it a global festival that overcomes local limitations."
